Avia Tech A&P Proficiency Training & FAA Certification Program
Welcome to the Avia Tech A&P Proficiency Training Program, your pathway to the FAA A&P Certification. This program is in partnership with our Designated Mechanic Examiner (DME) in the United States.
The Avia Tech A&P Proficiency training Course is a specialized program for applicants who have the practical experience per FAR Part 65.77 of at least 18 months of practical experience with the procedures, practices, materials, tools, machine tools, and equipment generally used in constructing, maintaining, or altering airframes, or powerplants appropriate to the rating sought or at least 30 months of practical experience concurrently performing the duties appropriate to both the airframe and powerplant ratings.
This intensive program is designed to help the applicant prepare for the required supporting documents, FAA interview with the Aviation Safety Inspector (ASI) for the FAA Form 8610-2 Authorization, pass all three knowledge test and pass the Oral and Practical examination with a FAA Designated Mechanic Examiner (DME) at the conclusion of the course.

This final phase consists of online video lectures, live interviews with the designated instructors, PowerPoint presentations & hands-on participation to prepare for the oral and practical examination with a FAA Designated Mechanic Examiner.

Through our online Learning Management System (LMS), you will have access to the latest and most comprehensive course materials covering the General, Airframe, and Powerplant modules. Our certified Remedial Training Instructors, industry experts with extensive experience, will support you throughout your studies—offering clarifications, monitoring your progress, and providing personalized guidance tailored to your learning needs.
With a targeted and structured approach, this program ensures you are fully prepared for the knowledge, oral, and practical exams, equipping you with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve certification successfully.
As part of the program, you will be required to take three written exams (General, Airframe, and Powerplant), as well as Oral and Practical Examinations in the United States, facilitated by our partnering Designated Mechanic Examiner (DME). To support you during this critical phase, our satellite site in Dallas, Texas will aid upon your arrival, helping you navigate the examination process with confidence through on-site preparations prior to the examination
